Depression

What is Depression?
Depression is different from the emotion of sadness. Sadness is a healthy feeling in response to challenging circumstances and can be coped with without treatment. However, feelings of intense depression can be more difficult to recover from immediately and calls for additional support and care.
There are many symptoms of depression. Feeling “down” or “sad” is just one symptom of depression and may require more attention.
